Take care of yourself

Taking care of yourself is not selfishness. It’s also taking care of the gift that God gave you. The gift of life. In a sense, it is also taking care of other those around you. As you cannot help others if you also need help.

Take care of yourself. Sleeping late to do more may look like you’re being productive, but the truth is you’re probably just cramming and being busy. As our brain has limited capability and needs constant rest, particularly sleep to re-energize the body, eliminate toxins and more (even supports learning and memory).

Take the necessary rests, breaks, with regular exercise and eat healthy. Once you achieve and maintain good health, it will be easier to be productive and efficient without sacrificing the needs of your body.

You’re probably thinking now of different excuses why you’re not able to do these things right now.

I’m sorry, but the only excuse that I will accept is if you’re in a coma.

Don’t have enough time? Make time. Track where all your time goes and drop or lessen the unnecessary activities. People nowadays are spending at least 2 hours everyday just browsing the internet on their phones, laptop or whatever. I know some of my friends who spends more than 3–5 hours just watching TV series on a regular if not daily basis.

No time my ass.

Take care of yourself! Taking care of yourself properly will allow you to do more than what you used to. Believe me. A LOT MORE.
